About Dr Nigel Finch

Nigel has an insightful strategic approach focusing on financial, risk and compliance within organisations. He is highly numerate and has 15 years’ experience in CFO and investment management roles in Australia and more than ten years’ experience in academia in two leading business schools.

Until 2014, Nigel was the Associate Professor in Accounting at the University of Sydney where he also served as the Associate Dean (Undergraduate).

Nigel works with boards and management teams designing and executing growth strategies for ASX and aspiring listed companies as well as supporting founders in start-up and early-stage enterprises.

He is managing director of corporate advisory firm Saki Partners and is an Australian Financial Services Authorised Representative.

Within the capital markets, Nigel has advised firms on transactions, corporate governance and equity capital raisings having worked across more than $150 million of corporate actions ranging from seed capital funding through to IPO and listed company M&A.

Nigel is a regular commentator on ASX investments and equity markets and hosts the StockDoc podcast series and the StockTalk video interview series. Presented by Stockhead, his commentary reaches an audience of more than 32,000 subscribers each day.
